By accessing or using ASCEND (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and ASCEND. Your continued use of the Service after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

ASCEND is an AI-powered personal growth platform designed to help you build habits, achieve goals, and become the best version of yourself through gamification.

ASCEND includes the following features:

• Goal setting and progress tracking
• AI coaching and personalised recommendations
• Daily missions and task management
• XP earning and leveling system
• Future Self predictions and visualisation

ASCEND is available on a free tier and a Premium subscription at $4.99/month.

To use ASCEND you must create an account. By registering, you confirm that:

• You are at least 13 years of age
• All information you provide at signup is accurate and up to date
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You will notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

ASCEND reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts where registration information is found to be false or misleading.

When using ASCEND, you agree not to:

• Scrape, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the platform
• Abuse, overload, or disrupt the Service or its underlying infrastructure
• Impersonate another person or engage in fraudulent activity
• Upload, post, or transmit content that is harmful, illegal, offensive, or violates the rights of others
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications

ASCEND reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these acceptable use standards, without prior notice.

The Premium plan is billed at $4.99 per month, charged monthly on a recurring basis.

• Payments are processed securely by Stripe
• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
• Upon cancellation, your Premium access continues until the end of the current billing period
• We do not issue refunds for partial months

ASCEND reserves the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes will be communicated via email before taking effect.

All content, branding, code, and materials comprising the ASCEND platform are owned by ASCEND and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Your content — goals, notes, and other user-generated content you create within ASCEND — remains your property. By submitting content to ASCEND, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, store, and display your content solely to provide and improve the Service.

ASCEND is designed for personal development purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, financial, legal, or any other form of professional advice.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee specific outcomes, results, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Future Self predictions and progress estimates are generated based on your inputs and are provided for motivational purposes only — they are not guarantees of any outcome.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ASCEND shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amounts you have paid to ASCEND in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Either you or ASCEND may terminate these Terms and your use of the Service at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if we determine you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct that is harmful to other users or to ASCEND.

Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which ASCEND operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration where permitted by applicable law. You waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action lawsuit.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of ASCEND after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

For major changes, we will notify you via email before the changes take effect, giving you the opportunity to review them.
